    Manufacturers’ Inventory provides a number of tools for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and storeroom inventory management. Our analysis service gives you a dashboard and detailed view of the value of your surplus parts in today’s market. Our online marketplace lets you easily sell excess inventory or purchase unused and hard to find spare parts.

    Dead Inventory Management System is the parent organization for Manufacturers’ Inventory. Manufacturers’ Inventory provides the online marketplace, inventory analysis, liquidation, and recycling services.

    The Manufacturers’ Inventory marketplace operates on a national and international basis while all other solutions are served in the United States alone.

  • What is the marketplace?
    The Manufacturers’ Inventory marketplace is an online store that allows owners of excess industrial components to easily sell them to interested buyers without the need for a liquidator. The marketplace allows both parties to get the best deals possible. Sellers receive a significantly higher return on value compared to liquidation options and buyers are able to immediately purchase in stock parts at a discount compared to other vendors.
  • What is my cost for the industrial component marketplace and analysis service?
    We don’t charge any upfront costs for initial analysis and consultation. Depending on the services executed, Manufacturers’ Inventory takes a percentage of the sales price or commission based on the solution used.
  • How does the selling process work?
    Manufacturers’ Inventory performs an analysis of your dead inventory and helps you sell it through multiple services based on your needs.
    A few quick steps:
    • Connect with Manufacturers’ Inventory (click any of the “Sign In” links on the website or call to set up an appointment with an Account Manager.
    • Put together a list of excess inventory you are interested in selling, including the manufacturer part number, quantity and manufacturer (at minimum).
    • Manufacturers’ Inventory will use its technology to analyze the parts you have provided, and an account Manager will get back to you with your best options for getting the highest return based on your company’s needs.
    • After that you will work with your account manager to execute suggested solutions options.
  • Will Manufacturers’ Inventory buy my inventory?
    No, Manufacturers’ Inventory does not buy your inventory nor do we take title of it. By providing the marketplace as a service we are able to keep our costs low and pass the savings on to the buyers and sellers.
  • How do I ship my goods after they’re sold in the marketplace?
    Once an item is sold in the marketplace you will be notified via an email. The email will contain a packing slip for your preferred shipping vendor. You will need to package the items you’ve sold, print and apply the packing slip, and send it out with your next scheduled shipment.
  • How soon will I receive my payment?
    Payment will clear once the 7 day dead on arrival warranty has passed.
  • How does liquidation work through Manufacturers’ Inventory?
    Manufacturers’ Inventory strives to get the best possible return for your excess inventory. If our analysis reveals that liquidation may be the best solution for your dead inventory, we’ll track down quotes to get you the best return and set up arrangements with your shipping department. We’re doing the work for you and will charge a finder’s fee for our efforts.
  • How does recycling work through Manufacturers’ Inventory?
    We can still help if you currently have inventory that is not eligible to be sold through the marketplace or liquidated. For a small finder’s fee Manufacturers’ Inventory will do the research necessary to find a facility to take those parts and help coordinate logistics of moving the product to the facility.
  • What does Manufacturers’ Inventory get for selling my products?
    We take a commission when one of your products is sold. This allows you to receive a much greater return on the value of the part compared to liquidation options.

    Manufacturers’ Inventory offers secondary services to its customers to help them explore all potential dead inventory solutions. To make this happen, we refer them to existing outlets. Partnership opportunities differ depending on the types of services your company provides. Please contact us to learn more.
  • What does being a channel partner entail?
    Manufacturers’ Inventory is a one stop shop for dead inventory solutions. We provide analysis and facilitate selling parts. Our online marketplace is the primary source for selling our client’s excess parts, but if that is not an option we look to facilitate other transactional solutions on behalf of our customer. Being a partner means you will work with us and we will refer our clients to your services in exchange for a finder’s fee. Details of all partnerships are unique and to be negotiated and managed with a Manufacturers’ Inventory employee.
